Colby Woodland Garden, Amroth, and Wisemans Bridge Circular

About

Enjoy this circular trail in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, leading you through Colby Woodland Garden to the coast, continuing along the Marros Sands.

The trail starts from Colby Woodland Garden, which was a coalfield in the 18th century and where you can now wander through woodland, meadows, and walled gardens managed by the National Trust. This area is covered in wildflowers in spring, including bluebells, daffodils, rhododendrons, and azaleas.

Follow the path through the woodland to the Amroth by the Marros Sands. Continue along the Cliff Road, taking in stunning coastal views as you make your way to Wiseman’s Bridge. From here, follow the Ford’s Lake into the woodland of Pleasant Valley and continue across the surrounding fields as you steadily return to the car park at Colby Woodland Garden.

It’s an undulating path with some steep inclines, offering a nice mix of terrain and scenery as you head along the coast and through farmland and woodland. Please note that there is a fee for non-members to park at the National Trust car park.
