Llanelli Circular via Swiss Valley Trail and Millenium Coastal Path

Llanelli has lovely beaches, wetlands, and is home to the fabulous Scarlets rugby team with some very famous players, including Leigh Halfpenny (www.scarlets.wales).

It is believed that Llanelli is named after a 6th century saint named St Elli who was the son or daughter of King Brychan. St Elli set up a church near the Afon Lliedi which attracted settlers near the river.
