Llansteffan Castle
About
Start this walk at St. Ystyffan and go south on Church Road. This will take you to Llansteffan Castle where you can explore and take a rest at one of the benches. The spot where the castle sits was once an Iron Age promontory fort and people have lived here for several millennia. The castle with ruins that are standing here today, was built by the Normans after 1100 as a part of their invasion of Wales.
There is the Castle Inn near where you will start the walk where you can get a pint to drink or a bite to eat.
