Llandelio Road, Phen Rhiw-ddu And Tair Carn Uchaf Circular

Experience the vast, open spaces of the Black Mountain on this rugged hill walk. This is a classic moorland climb with spectacular panoramic views from the summit ridge. The route is a steep ascent over boggy, pathless terrain, so it's one for experienced walkers. The ridge is very exposed, so be prepared for wind and changing weather with proper waterproofs. Look to the skies for Red Kites soaring overhead, a common sight in this part of Wales.
