Carmel Circular

About

This is a short but sweet route with a steep hill and pretty views. You will be walking around the Carmel National Nature Reserve which is a habitat for a variety of bird species. Each season features different views, flora and fauna to take in from fungi in autumn to bluebells in spring. The are forests that include ancient woodland, grassland and exposed rock faces. Limestone has been extracted here for hundreds of years. Bring some food and snacks and have a picnic.
