Pwll Dwfn Circular

This is a lovely trail in Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, leading you through the Craig-y-Nos Country Park in the Tawe Valley and up Carreg Goch, where you’re treated to fantastic views of the surrounding hills. Starting from the visitor centre car park, you’ll follow the paths through the historic grounds of the Victorian Craig-y-nos Castle, which is a grade II listed building.

Continue by making the ascent up the moorland slopes and the rocky top of the hill. Enjoy the views before making your way back down to the valley. You’ll follow a mix of paths and tracks, some of which may be muddy or rocky, so appropriate footwear is advised.
