Llyn Y Fan Fawr

This is a pleasant route taking you up to Llyn Y Fan Fawr where there are lovely views over the water and surrounding area.

Starting at the roadside parking, the trail winds over rough and boggy terrain, climbing up to the llyn. The path is indistinct at times and care is needed with footing and navigation.

You will also need to cross the River Tawe which will be difficult when the water level is high. This trail should not be attempted when the river is in spate. Check local conditions before heading out.

Sturdy footwear, preferably boots, is required for this trail.
