This is a stunning route taking you to the summit of Fan Brycheiniog (the Black Mountain). Some challenges along the way, with some decent elevation, up to one of the highest peaks in the Brecon Beacons National Park with spectacular views. Low cloud is very common in this area, and can come in quickly. There are some steep drops off the edge of the ridge, so be mindful. We can't highlight every single hazard on a walk – it’s up to you to be safe and competent. Enjoy reconnecting with nature!
