Southgateand Pwll and High Pennard Hill Circular

There are great views out over the Bristol Channel on a clear day as you make your way along the clifftops from Southgate, past the site of High Pennard Hill Fort, and back to the start via Pennard Farm. Take care on the rougher sections of this trail, especially in wetter and windy conditions. Appropriate footwear is required. The trail also returns along a paved road where care is needed. There may also be livestock including cattle along the paths.
