Mill Wood Heritage Walk

About

Mill Wood was originally part of the Penrice Estate, and various remnants of the 18th-century landscape remain, including fishponds and the ruins of a watermill. It’s particularly beautiful to visit in spring, when the woodland floor is covered in wildflowers, including bluebells, red campions, marsh marigold, and wild daffodils.

This trail leads you around the fishponds and past the ruins of the watermill before returning to the trailhead.
