Brombil Reservoir
About
This is a beautiful trail that takes you to the stunning Brombil Reservoir, which was once a colliery supplying coal to the copper works in Taibach before being flooded to provide water for the Port Talbot docks.
The path winds up through the forest, following the babbling brook before reaching the incredible turquoise waters of Brombil Reservoir. Here, you can spend some time along the waterside to soak up the scenery before following the same route back.
Sensible shoes are advisable as the path can be muddy. The walk up to Brombil Reservoir starts from a residential area, so please park considerately.
