Mellincourt and Crynant Forest Circular

This hike begins at a tiny parking lot for visitors to the waterfall. Arrive after night since parking lots might be crowded sooner. No notice prohibiting overnight stops. Some amenities may not be accessible at all times. The Community Council is creating the Crynant Community Forest under a five-year arrangement with National Resources Wales. The project's goal is to make the forest more fascinating and accessible to everyone, encouraging more walking, better lifestyle choices, and appreciation for the lovely terrain and animals around. Birds discovered in the woodland (rare discoveries!). Respect, defend, and appreciate other people: park carefully so that access to doorways and drives is clear. Keep gates and property as found. Protect the natural environment: don't litter, use caution with BBQs, don't set fires, and keep pets under control. Garbage bags for dog poo.
