Northern Way of St David: Day 2 Pwll Deri to Porthgain

This is a beautiful trail taking in great views, scenic paths, and interesting historical sites as you make your way along the amazing and famous coastal path from Fishguard to St Davids. A pilgrimage to St Davids, along with Santiago in Spain, was offered by the Pope in 1123 as an alternative during the Crusades, and the small city saw many pilgrims make the journey.

The second section of this trail takes you from Pwll Deri to Porthgain offering great sea views and coastal paths as you wind your way past Porth Dwgan, Aber Bach, Abermawr, and Abercastle. Take care on the rougher sections, especially in wetter and windy conditions along the narrow cliff paths. Appropriate footwear is required.
