About
St Davids became an important destination for pilgrims during the Medieval period with many making the journey to the magnificent cathedral. Completed over a number of days, the full trail sees you take in winding coastal paths, amazing views out to sea, and interesting historical sites.
The second stage of this trail takes you from Gelliswick Bay to Marloes through a more rural setting as you wind along the beautiful coastal path, over the tidal bridge at Sandy Haven, past Great Castle Head and Monk's Haven, through Dale, and on to Marloes. Sections of this trail will require careful planning with the low tide so please take note of these times before heading out. Enjoy the beautiful views and scenic paths, but take care on the rougher sections and be aware of livestock.
