Porthgain to Trefin Circular
About
This circular route from Porthgain is a real gem. You’ll head out along the famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path, with cracking views of the sea cliffs. As you leave Porthgain, you'll spot the old brick hoppers, a reminder of the area's quarrying past. These large brick structures were used to store granite roadstone before being loaded on ships. As you wind your way along, keep your eyes peeled for seabirds like the rare red-beaked chough, and you might even see some seals bobbing in the water below. The trail then returns to the start via the farmland roads and paths through the fields.
