Pembrokeshire Coast Path: Solva to Whitesands Bay

About

This trail is a little section of the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail, which spans 21 kilometres of stunning coastal beauty. The path winds its way across cliff tops, sheltered coves, wide beaches, and twisting estuaries.

The route, Britain's only maritime national park, has coastal flora and fauna, as well as evidence of human activity from Neolithic periods to the present.

The Coastal Path is a physically hard endeavour, but it may be enjoyed in shorter segments by people of all ages and abilities, with certain coastal cities offering delightful respite and additional enjoyment. The countryside and shore are stunning.

The well-known Carreg Wasted point [and one of the most popular explorer destinations.

Starting from the parking lot near Solva's harbour, this trail winds through breathtaking scenery until it reaches the bay of Whithsand Beach. Although the rough coastline is not for the faint of heart, viewing seals and pups in the first cove is a must. At Carreg Wasted point in the bay, a memorial stone commemorates a pair of dolphins leaping. Many caverns can also be observed and some may even be visited.

A fantastic chance for many nature enthusiasts and those interested in this region, where numerous rewards may be obtained.
