St. Davids Peninsula Circular Walk
About
This is a beautiful trail taking in great views from the cliffside paths and historic sites as you make your way round.
Starting in St Davids, the trail heads down the road to St Non's Well where the coastal path is joined. Here the trail winds along the high cliffs passing Porthclais Harbour, Porthlysgi Bay, Castell Heinif, St Justinian's, Porthselau Beach, and Whitesands Beach.
After rounding the golf course, the trail crosses the farmlands on the way back to St Davids where you can visit the famous cathedral and take in some refreshments at one of the cafes or pubs.
On this trail, you can keep an eye out for seals, dolphins, and a variety of birds. There may also be livestock along the paths so take care.
Great care is needed on the cliff paths which are exposed along the sudden drops. This trail is best attempted in calm, clear, and dry conditions as wetter conditions will make the trail more difficult.
Appropriate footwear, warm layers, and sun protection are required for this route.
